Basel Kilani

Basel Kilani is currently the Lead Software Developer for the ITS Statewide Project. He has been with ITS lab since June 2004 and has been exposed to and interacted with a multitude of ITS technologies during his tenure. Most of his work has focused on the management and control of digital IP-based and fiber-optic analog devices, such as dynamic roadway messaging systems and controllable camera emplacements. He also designs, implements, and maintains many of the lab's database systems used for geospatial information, embedded device status, concurrent session handling, peer-to-peer coordination, and user-level access security.

He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 with a B.S. in Computer Science and is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
